Maybe I am just being uptight, but if I’m going to put my life into someones hands, I don’t know how comfortable I am putting it in the hands of someone who is still practicing. I think I would feel a whole lot better trusting my health, and that of my family, to someone who has a firm grasp on medicine. Not only that, but it seems like doctors are proud of the fact that they are still only practicing. They say it all the time, “I am a practicing physician” like it is some sort of badge of honor that they have been able to pull one over on society for so long, by still being in the practicing phase of their training and yet still getting patients. I mean they even call their office their “Practice”, and this doesn’t alarm anyone? Most people who are still practicing their desired profession go without work in that field until they get proficient at it, but boy if you’re going to start messing around with peoples well being then by all means you can practice on the job.
I think I would feel a whole lot better going to a Practiced Physician and leave the Practicing Physicians to the malpractice attorneys, who by the way I bet aren’t practicing on the job either.
