Have you ever entered a room and there was someone there when you walked in so you start talking to them after you pass them, only to turn around and find they are not there anymore? Have you ever read a longer question? Anyway, back to the point. I just hate it when I walk into a room, and think there is somebody behind me so I start to talk to them, only to turn around and find they are not there any more. You have to ask yourself, did they leave before I started talking? Or did I bore them so badly that they left in the middle of my dialog? Even worse is when you are talking, thinking that somebody is there, and someone else walks in the room and thinks you are talking to yourself. In those situations I usually just ask myself a question, answer it, twitch a couple times and then leave. That will teach them for walking in on my conversation.

Anyway, nobody likes talking to themselves. I mean, introspection is one thing, but to carry on a conversation with yourself just gets boring and kind of weird. Which makes me wonder, when you see those people on the side of the road having full blown arguments with nobody, are they really seeing another person? If so, who do you think is winning the argument? It would be a sad thing to have an argument with a figment of your own imagination and lose. I’ve had arguments with figments of other peoples imaginations and lost, but never my own, that would just be pathetic.
